Charlotte Sale Glass was established in 2009 through passion and love for glass.

 

After graduating from Edinburgh College of Art, the Royal College of Art in London and studying at Pilchuck School in Seattle the knowledge and skills collected along the way has enriched what Charlotte Sale Glass has become today.

 

Working with a carefully selected highly skilled British team of glass makers, Charlotte Sale Glass can create an exquisite wide variety of glassware, restore any of your own damaged wears as well as create your own designs and inspirations for your home.

 

With a broad range of skills from engraving, sandblasting, casting, stained glass windows and glass blowing the opportunities are endless.

 

Early collections were taken in by Liberty London and shown around the world in the BBC2 series 'Britain's Next Big Thing'. The Spritz series were sought after in all shapes and sizes worldwide, which lead Charlotte Sale Glass to flourish in to a successful and well respected glass company in Britain.

 

Each individual decorative and functional glasswares is uniquely designed, handcrafted and achieved with care and perfection.

Charlotte Sale Glass

Man made glass has been found dating back to 4000BC and a hollow glass container was found dating 1500BC.

British glass was brought about by the Romans. From the 13th Century there was evidence of glass making in Weald, Surrey and Sussex. Lead crystal glass was invented by George Ravenscroft. It was clearer, softer and easier to decorate and became invaluable for the optical industry.

To keep the British Glass Industry alive by supplying British made glass and supporting glass makers and suppliers around the UK.
